What exactly IS a "Soul Coach?'

As far as I know, there is no formal description for the job of “Soul Coach.” However, I would guess anyone who has given themselves that title is trying to get across the point they want to work with clients on a deeper level, acting as a guide and a mentor, as the client explores various areas of self-discovery and spiritual enlightenment with the aims of witnessing the client’s greater sense of fulfillment and a personal transformation. Of course, we each have our own passions, toolbox, education, etc to help you get there, so I’d like to delve a little deeper into what that might look like with me…

First off, one of the biggest questions I get goes something like this: “I’m not having a midlife crisis (or experiencing a major trauma) so is this something I need?” Of course, each (potential) client is different. Some of my clients are going through some unbelievably deep/heavy stuff which requires working with a trained psychologist or even a psychiatrist in addition to any work I do with them. I can do that. But, more often than not, my clients are rather average humans, experiencing fairly normal human stuff. (As if average and normal are actual things!) Such as:

  • moms struggling with life after baby, going back to work, juggling work/life, or empty nesting

  • people experiencing new medical diagnoses - autoimmune, food allergies, cancer, diabetes…

  • mental health struggles of all sorts - anxiety, depression, loss, grief, FOMO, lack of connection, finding community, post-C0V1D fears

  • starseeds trying to find their place in this world

  • anyone facing life purpose stress, anxiety, and overwhelm

  • and more!

These are just a few examples. You might be anywhere on this spectrum. And you might be able to handle the “medical stuff” just fine with the support of family and friends but need support when it comes to your belief systems surrounding motherhood, or vice versa. But, basically, anyone struggling with “life stuff” is a great candidate for Soul Coaching.

Why?

Because unlike a doctor or a therapist, our goal is to get to the soul of the matter. The deep, underlying WHY of what is really going on. And create a plan to get you where you want to truly be. Not just what you think you want or where you think you want to be. But find the thing that actually matters to your soul and will actual help you makes the shifts to feel better on a soul level.

In other words, there is no cookie cutter answer. I don’t have a magic pill or diet or lifestyle change that will cure all that ails everyone. Other than helping you tap into your own intuition. Because the truth is, you already have the answer. We just have to find it. And I can help make that process so much easier.

How?

I am trained in a variety of coaching, mental health and energy healing modalities that allow me to confidently and professionally work with clients one-on-one, in a group setting, or through books, ecourses, etc.

My objective is to guide you towards a deeper understanding of yourself and help you tap into you inner wisdom. I aim to create a safe and supportive space for you.

As a soul coach, I typically act as a mentor, cheerleader and confidant. Depending on where you are in your journey, I adjust - meaning: \

  • sometimes I’m an educator and sometimes you teach me something (as part of your process in owning a skill)

  • sometimes I ask lots of questions and other times I just listen

  • sometimes we brainstorm together - everything from the logical to the outlandish

  • sometimes we create - art, writing, businesses, relationships

  • sometimes we get quiet and journal or meditate

  • and sometimes we get loud and scream or howl at the moon

But in the end, it’s all an offering of invaluable support and inspiration to people like you on their path of self-discovery, personal growth, and/or spiritual enlightenment.
